In addition to her role as professor, Dr. Shafazand is Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinics at University of Miami, as well as Director of Undergraduate Medical Education Scholarly Pathways, Population Health and Health Policy Pathway, and Population Health and Women’s Health Pathway. Dr. Shafazand also has a Master of Science degree in Health Research and Policy from Stanford University. She has contributed to many book chapters and peer-reviewed publications and is the Editor-in-Chief for Current Pulmonology Reports and the Associate Editor for both the ATS Scholar and the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine.
