Dr. Olson has presented numerous well-received lectures on infectious disease topics including infectious diseases for the internist and for the internal medicine boards, and has been an invited speaker, as well as created an active learning module, on Febrile Neutropenia. Dr. Olson is an author of several peer-reviewed publications, and serves on a number of university committees including the University of Chicago Medicine’s Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program Evaluation committees. His ongoing research includes retrospective cohort study on prescribing patterns in osteomyelitis.
