Dr. Sadikot joined UNMC in 2021 as Chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, following her service since 2014 as a professor in Emory University’s Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine section. Dr. Sadikot has received accolades and numerous awards for excellence in teaching, patient care, and research. Her research has focused on defining the lung immune response and mechanism of lung injury, and she is funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Institutes on Health, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
She is extensively published in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, and she serves on the editorial boards of several journals and is a senior editorial board member for Nature Scientific Report.
