Magdalena Bogun, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine and Division of Endocrinology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Bogun received her medical degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences, completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and finished her fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Yale University. Dr. Bogun is board certified in Endocrinology and specializes in Diabetes. She sees patients at the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center and New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Bogun leads educational initiatives and research projects studying the pathophysiology of diabetes and management of patients with diabetes in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She a director of Inpatient Diabetes Service at the New York Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Irving Medical Center, and she is program director for the Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship at Columbia University.
