Dr. Park serves as the Program Director of the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program, and has been recognized for his contributions to medical education including being awarded the Mayo Department of Medicine Residency Program’s Internal Medicine Subspecialty Teacher of the Year (2023) and Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development: Outstanding Course (2020). His professional interests include the role of alveolar epithelial cells in ventilator-induced lung injury and life-cycle regulation in pneumocystis carinii.
Dr. Park is Chair of the Safety IPE Workgroup of Mayo Clinic Pulmonary and Critical Care and on the ICU Quality and Safety Research Section Committee, Society of Critical Care Medicine.
