Dr. Whittier is involved with the teaching and lecturing curriculum at Rush University including a lecture series for preparation of the internal medicine board exam. He has received several educational awards including the Teaching and Service Award in the Department of Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Whittier has published many articles, abstracts, and book chapters on various topics of internal medicine and nephrology. Teaching is his passion and his philosophy is to demystify the complexities of Nephrology without losing any accuracy.
