Dr. Levine has received several honors and awards for her work including the Excellence in Education and Clinical Care Award and the Fellow of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine Academy of Distinguished Medical Educators. Dr. Levine has participated as a reviewer for the medical publications Journal of the American Geriatrics Society and American Journal Medicine as well as being a Co-Chair of the Review Committee of the UNIPAC study guide of hospice and palliative medicine. Dr. Levine was also certified in 2010 in hospice and palliative medicine.
