Dr. Frellsen has been serving as a mentor to several residents and fellows in hospice and palliative medicine, as well as on the Committee of Stroger Hospital Palliative Care Fellowship Curriculum. Dr. Frellsen has been a reviewer for the professional publications Journal of General Internal Medicine and the Journal of the American Medical Association. Dr. Frellsen is also currently serving as the Co-Clerkship Director of Internal Medicine at Rush Medical College and the Coordinator for the Advance Topics in Palliative Medicine Conference Series.
