Dr. Gourineni is the recipient of the A.B. Baker Teaching Recognition Award from the American Academy of Neurology and the Nick Vick Award for Excellence in Teaching Medical Students. She is also a principal investigator and co-investigator on multiple clinical trials on insomnia and restless legs syndrome. Previously, Dr. Gourineni was the program director of the Sleep Fellowship Program and has been published in Sleep: A Comprehensive Handbook and Journal of Biological Rhythms.
