Dr. Baru has been involved in medical education for his entire medical career, including in his role as a fellowship director in Hospice and Palliative Medicine for the past 7 years. He has participated in a variety of educational conferences and has contributed to several medical publications. He is the recipient of multiple teaching awards and founded the Palliative Care clinic in Mission Health System’s cancer Center in 2018. He clinical interests are in palliative care for hospitalized patients and those living with cancer.
