Carl Grey is from Culloden, WV. He attended West Virginia University for his Bachelor of Science degree, Medical degree, and his residency in Internal Medicine. He completed fellowships in Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2011.
In October of 2017, Dr. Grey became an Associate Professor at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, and the Director of Palliative Care after 6 years of service at West Virginia University. He is a site Principal Investigator for a national clinical trial comparing In-Person Palliative Care to Telehealth Palliative Care, a project led by Massachusetts General Hospital. He loves seeing patients in the outpatient setting in the Cancer Center and for inpatient Palliative Consults, both of which are an honor and a privilege.
